To qualify to file under Chapter 7 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, your household's income must be under Georgia's median income threshold on the Means Test. 

Here are the median income thresholds in Georgia until October 31, 2009:
Household size of 1 - $40,760
Household size of 2 - $54,054
Household size of 3 - $61,958
Household size of 4 - $71,554

On November 1, 2009, the Georgia median income thresholds will change as follows:
Household size of 1 - $40,691 (decrease)
Household size of 2 - $55,258 (increase)
Household size of 3 - $61,104 (decrease)
Household size of 4 - $68,502 (decrease)
